The Amish made Plains Rake Bed, by Meadow Wood, is a bed with a unique twist on the standard slatted headboard and footboard style by adding some smooth arches and swept curves to the headboard and footboard, which would be especially comfortable if you are sitting up reading, and it will also be lighter when you have to move it to clean under it! The light, airy feel will also make it feel somewhat less imposing in the room as well, and you have to admit it does slightly resemble a bamboo rake. Our base configuration of the Amish made Plains Rake Bed is Queen-sized, and is built out of solid oak, but you can choose something else if you prefer, and you can have it stained and finished to your liking to add the finishing touch.
