The Amish made Plainfield Bed, by Meadow Wood, is another basic, no frills bed for those who don’t really care for a footboard, but still like a nice headboard, which in this case has an attractive paneled and arched design with sturdy, capped endposts. This would be an excellent choice for a guest room or someone who just wants a basic bed - the beautiful grain of the wood still shines through! Our base configuration of the Amish made Plainfield Bed is Queen-sized, and is made of beautiful solid oak, but you can choose another hardwood if you prefer, and you can have it stained and finished to your liking to add the finishing touch, or get it unfinished and do it yourself.
